National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met on Tuesday with Binali Yıldırım, the Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, they summarized the outcomes of the Council's session, discussed the upcoming work of the Organization, and explored the development of relations between the two countries.
Binali Yıldırım, on behalf of the Council of Elders, expressed sincere gratitude to Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the high level of organization of the current forum and the warm reception in Turkmenistan.
Gurbanguly Bedimuhamedov and the Chairman of the Council exchanged views on the importance of joining efforts in the development of friendly and fraternal relations between countries. They particularly discussed the expansion of cultural and humanitarian dialogue.
The Chairman of Halk Maslahaty emphasized that members of the Council of Elders play an important role in the development of fruitful relations in the fields of economy, trade, transportation, energy, and investments. He expressed gratitude to Binali Yıldırım for the high level of organization of the Council's work.
