1st Week of March: Export Deals on SCRMET Exceeded $109.6M
Trading moment at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan

Last week, deals worth $109.641 million were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET), as reported by SCRMET on Monday.

Representatives from Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan engaged in purchasing polypropylene, aviation kerosene, various grades of automotive gasoline, illuminating kerosene produced by Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern, as well as urea produced by Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern.

Moreover, business representatives from the UAE, Türkiye, Serbia, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan engaged in deals for portland cement, handmade carpets, denim and dyed terry products, denim and cotton fabric, cotton yarn, dry licorice root extract, and purified cotton waste.

Turkmen entrepreneurs acquired bitumen and mixed paraffin wax (from Türkmennebit), float glass, glass containers, handmade carpets, smooth-painted and jacquard terry products, cotton yarn, and fabric, totaling over 33.318 million manats for the domestic market.

Last week, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan recorded 75 transactions.
