Turkmen Businesswomen Exhibited Their Products in Ashgabat
The exhibition showcased original women's carpet handbags, wallets, cases, souvenirs made in national style, embroidered silk tablecloths, pillows, women's scarves and shawls, and curtains.

The Center for Public Organizations in the capital of Turkmenistan hosted a forum and exhibition of women's entrepreneurship. The event was jointly organized by the Union of Women and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, with the support of National Center for Trade Unions. Well-known women entrepreneurs, winners of craftswomen of arts and crafts competitions, and participants of international and national exhibitions took part in the event.

The exhibition took place in the spacious hall at the second floor of the Center for Public Organizations. Turkmen women entrepreneurs, including Orazgul Eyeberdiyeva, Kumush Tajibayeva, Ejegul Annagurbanova, Gulayim Novruzaliyeva, presented original women's carpet handbags, wallets, cases, souvenirs made in national style, embroidered silk tablecloths, pillows, women's scarves and shawls, and curtains at the exhibition. Maral Atayeva demonstrated her handmade jewelry. These works of art are distinguished by a unique combination of national traditions and modern forms, their expressive interpretation.

Entrepreneur Aygul Ashirova presented the products of her Rahatlyk water production workshop. The most common areas of female entrepreneurship presented at the exhibition testify to the high successes and achievements of our women in implementing their creative abilities and talents, business qualities and undertakings for the benefit of their family and society.

Women entrepreneurs, members of the Union of Women and trade union workers during their speeches at the conference noted that the state has done tremendous work in building a free and prosperous society, increasing the socio-economic activity of women, their role and status in the life of the state and society, and strengthening the institution of the family. They further noted that the development of female entrepreneurship is the key to prosperity, sustainable development and the strengthening of every family and society as a whole.

In this regard, public organizations carry out systematic work to popularize best practices in the field of women's entrepreneurship, attract women and girls to family entrepreneurship, small business and private entrepreneurship, and farming, thus promoting their employment, strengthening families, and implementing initiatives of women and girls. They also implement targeted projects across the country, especially in the most remote regions, aimed at training women and girls in the development of family entrepreneurship and craftsmanship.

Union of Women and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan jointly developed the successful Center for Businesswomen. The center is designed to help strengthen and expand the cooperation of Turkmen women in work and business, to support them in solving important social and economic issues, and first of all, to solve the issues of employment in cities and villages of remote etraps.

The high educational and professional level, initiative and enterprise today have become integral features of our women. Their hard work results in significant achievements in all areas of Turkmen economy. Thanks to the talent and creativity of the skilled craftswomen, they carefully preserved, expanded and flourished the national traditions of hand-made carpet weaving and embroidery.
