Turkmenistan to Launch Remote Payment System for Charity
Bank operations via the mobile application of the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank Senagat.

Vice Prime Minister of Turkmenistan, Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the proposal to activate the mobile application Senagat töleg during an online Cabinet Ministers meeting on Friday. The application, developed by the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank Senagat aims to facilitate non-cash donations for charitable purposes.

According to the Vice Prime Minister, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care provides financial assistance for various medical procedures, treatments for young patients in healthcare institutions, children living in orphanages, specialized schools, and boarding schools, as well as the procurement of medical supplies.

The President of Turkmenistan particularly emphasized the significant role of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation in providing systematic assistance to individuals in need of care, with support from which aid is consistently extended to those under care.

Having approved the proposal aimed at fulfilling the wishes of the country's citizens for voluntary donations through the digital system to the fund, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Vice Prime Minister to proceed with the necessary tasks in this direction.

On April 4, 2024, children in Tajikistan received gifts from the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care at the Istiklol Medical Complex in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
