Türkmengazburawlaýyş Department, the gas drilling entity of the Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) State Concern, has acquired a new commercial flow of natural gas at the gas production No.02 at the Yylan gas field located in Mary province, the official Turkmen media reported on Thursday.
Gas workers of Türkmengazburawlaýyş (Turkmen Gas Drilling) management carried out drilling operations at this exploitation and appraisal well to a depth of 2,875 metres.
With extensive experience, the specialists drilled the well to a depth of between 2,856 and 2,852 metres, resulting in a new commercially significant gas flow.
According to experts, the daily gas production from the well is 821 thousand cubic metres. The main feature of this field's "blue fuel" is its purity, as the natural gas produced is entirely free from hydrogen sulfide.
