Serdar Berdimuhamedov Expresses Condolences to South Korean President Over Floods

The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, sent condolences to South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol over the floods that caused human casualties, injuries, and extensive destruction as a result of heavy rains in the country, the official Turkmen media reported on Monday.

On behalf of the people and government of Turkmenistan, and on his behalf, the Head of State conveyed words of deep sympathy and support to the families and friends of the victims at this difficult moment and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also sent a letter of condolences to President Yoon Suk-yeol and the speaker of the National Assembly of the country, Im Jin-Pyo, in connection with the floods that caused human casualties, injuries, and extensive destruction.

According to South Korea's Yonhap news agency, the number of people dead or missing due to floods caused by heavy rains has reached 50.
