Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Meets With Head of Tatarstan in Kazan

During his visit to Kazan to participate in the XV International Economic Forum "Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2024" as an honorary guest, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, on Wednesday.

As reported by the official media of Turkmenistan, members of both delegations also attended the meeting between Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Rustam Minnikhanov, the Head of Tatarstan.

The Head of Tatarstan thanked Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for accepting the invitation to visit Kazan to participate in the International Economic Forum "Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2024" and the meeting of the Strategic Vision Group "Russia-Islamic World," which serves as a unifying international public platform.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the current visit of the Turkmen delegation and the upcoming meetings at various venues would make a significant contribution to expanding bilateral cooperation, which is an important aspect of Turkmenistan's constructive partnership with the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, the parties noted successful cooperation in the oil and gas industry, shipbuilding, chemical industry, as well as in the supply of aviation equipment and trucks.

At the end of the meeting, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, and the leader of the Republic of Tatarstan expressed confidence that traditionally friendly bilateral relations would continue to dynamically develop, acquiring new concrete content.
