A new village is being built in the Taze Yol gengeshlik of the Koneurgench district, designed in line with modern urban planning and settlement development standards, as reported by Turkmenistan’s news agency on Wednesday.
The village will feature comprehensive infrastructure, including residential, industrial, and public utilities. The project includes the construction of hundreds of homes, including cottage-style houses. Roads and utility systems for gas, electricity, and water supply have already been installed.
The local economy will be supported by small enterprises, including a soft drink factory, a bakery, and a greenhouse complex specializing in lemon and mushroom cultivation. These businesses aim to provide goods for local residents and create jobs.
Key social infrastructure includes a general education school for 420 students, a kindergarten for 160 children, healthcare and cultural centers, a communications center, a service house, a shopping center, an administrative building, and a fire station.
In 2025, Turkmenistan plans to commission approximately 500,000 square meters of residential space, schools with capacity for 4,620 students, and kindergartens for 2,000 children.
