The International Trade and Services Exhibition-Fair and the International Conference Ensuring Quality in Turkmenistan in Accordance with International Standards will be held from April 29 to May 1 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Preparations for the upcoming events were reported to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyyev during a regular government meeting on Friday.
According to official media sources, the events will bring together representatives of the trade sector, industry-specific ministries and agencies, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as foreign companies and organizations.
The business program includes consultations with international experts, discussions on export development, digital marketing, and product certification requirements.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister’s report, 63 companies and organizations from 27 countries have confirmed their participation, and registration is still ongoing.
Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the trade sector in the national economy and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure high-quality organization of the international events.
The meeting also addressed a number of other state issues, and the government made corresponding decisions.
