Vice President for Medical Affairs of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, Oguljahan Atabayeva, visited the Ahal Velayat, Turkmenistan’s official media reported on Wednesday.
During the visit, Atabayeva reviewed the operations of the Rehabilitation Educational and Training Complex, the Multidisciplinary Hospital, and the Maternal and Child Health Center—institutions specializing in the rehabilitation and educational development of children.
At the Multidisciplinary Hospital, she toured the intensive care unit of the maternity ward, where she assessed the conditions created for mothers and newborns. The Vice President of the Foundation then visited the maternity ward of the Maternal and Child Health Center to review its operations.
Medical staff at the facilities noted the importance of state support for child healthcare and expressed gratitude for the attention given to their work.
At the end of the visit Atabayeva stressed the significance of the conditions being created for raising a healthy generation and wished the medical professionals continued success in their efforts.
