New Facilities Opened in Turkmenistan for Defenders of Homeland Day

In Turkmenistan, ahead of the Day of Defenders of the Homeland, solemn ceremonies took place to open new facilities at several military and law enforcement institutions, reported the Watan Habarlary news program on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan opened new buildings for vehicle condition monitoring and transport groups in Ahal, Dashoguz, Lebap, and Mary velayats. In particular, new facilities opened in the police departments of Serakh District in Ahal velayat, Gerogly District in Dashoguz velayat, Charjew and Koytendag districts in Lebap velayat, and the police department of Sakarchage District in Mary velayat.

The new centers feature modern equipment for checking vehicle technical condition, including control systems, tachographs, and lighting that meets environmental standards. They also allow testing of the braking systems of passenger and cargo vehicles. The equipment meets international standards. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan carried out the construction work.

Additionally, on the Day of Defenders of the Homeland, a new residential building for military personnel opened next to the administrative building of the military service in Koneurgench district of Dashoguz velayat. The reinforced concrete products enterprise in Dashoguz city, under the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Turkmenistan, built the facilities at the request of the Ministry of National Security of Turkmenistan.

The private company Rysgally Zähmet completed the renovation of the State Migration Service building in Lebap velayat and transferred it into operation in the Kerki district. Modern technologies and computer equipment significantly improved the service’s efficiency.

Military personnel and civilians expressed their gratitude to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people. As part of the celebrations, gifts were presented to the builders who excelled in the construction of these facilities on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
