Turkmen delegation invited Austrian entrepreneurs to participate in operations on the oil and gas fields of the Caspian Sea. The invitation was extended at an event held at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna, as reported by THP news portal on Wednesday.
According to the report, Turkmenistan reaffirmed its position on gas supplies to Europe through the construction of the Trans-Caspian Gas Pipeline.
During the event, it was noted that Turkmenistan welcomes the interest of Austrian companies in participating in the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project and other gas projects.
The Turkmen delegation also expressed readiness to discuss matters related to the supply of machinery and equipment from Austrian manufacturers. This will facilitate the export of Turkmen natural gas to global markets.
