Turkmenbashi Refinery: Over 4 Million Tonnes of Petroleum Products Dispatched

The Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery Complex of the Turkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern reported dispatching over 4 million tonnes of petroleum products to consumers in 2023, according to official Turkmen media on Thursday.

Kenar, a company providing storage and shipment services for petroleum products from the Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery Complex, played an important role in ensuring uninterrupted and high-quality delivery of finished products to both domestic and international consumers.

In the past year, Kenar facilitated the shipment of over 4 million tonnes of finished petroleum products. This included approximately 2.76 million tonnes to domestic consumers and around 1.3 million tonnes to foreign markets.

The Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery Complex processes various types of crude oil, producing different grades of automotive gasoline, aviation and industrial kerosene, diesel fuel, fuel oil, motor oils, polypropylene, furnace fuel, coke, liquefied gas, construction and road bitumen, and various other petroleum and petrochemical products. These products find export markets both regionally and globally.

Loaded with finished petroleum products, ships and trains are dispatched by sea and rail to various countries worldwide, including Georgia, Malta, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
