January-May: Seydi Refinery Processed Over 194 Thousand Tons of Oil
Seydi refinery, which is part of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, is one of the largest industrial enterprises in Turkmenistan.

Seydi oil refinery in Lebap province in eastern Turkmenistan processed 194.45 thousand tons of oil and produced 146.29 thousand tons of products from January to May this year, the official Turkmen media reported. 

According to the report, the refinery turned out 77.1 thousand tons of gasoline, 1.5 thousand tons of black oil, 49.344 thousand tons of diesel, 10.744 thousand tons of heavy vacuum kerosene, and 7,577 thousand tons of oil bitumen.

Seydi Refinery is part of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries and is one of the largest industrial enterprises in the country.

A unit for the production of road bitumen with an annual capacity of 37.2 thousand tons was built in the structure of the plant in 2015. Seydi oil refinery also launched a catalytic reforming unit with an annual capacity of 500 thousand tons of high-octane gasoline in 2017.

The company employs about 1,800 specialists.
