Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern’s Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), the major oil refinery in Turkmenistan, in January-April 2023 processed more than 1.52 million tons of crude oil, the official Turkmen media reported on Thursday.

According to the report, in the first four months of 2023, the refinery produced 512.5 thousand tons of gasoline, implementing the production plan by 108 percent. Besides, the TCOR implemented the kerosene production plan by 110.1 percent, diesel fuel – by 109.7 percent, liquefied gas - 236.4 percent, oil bitumen - more than 1.5 times.

The complex produces unleaded motor gasoline, aviation and technical kerosene, jet and diesel fuel, fuel oil, lubricating oils, polypropylene, light gasoil, petroleum electrode coke, liquefied gas, construction and road bitumen, as well as a number of other oil products.

The refinery in January-March 2023 processed about 1.1 million tons of oil, surpassing the plan of 103.3 percent.
