Experienced private construction firm Gündogdy, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, builds this new facility on 200 hectares of land.

The construction of the new airport in Kerki, Lebap velayat, which will serve up to 100 people at a time, has intensified.

Experienced private construction firm Gündogdy, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, builds this new facility on 200 hectares of land. This construction firm had successfully built the International Airport of Turkmenabad before.

In the construction of the airport, special attention is paid to the prompt implementation of planned works. Proper bilateral execution of contracts, concluded with enterprises for the widespread use of local raw materials, ensures the progress of construction works.

The airport will include passenger car parking, a bus stop, a warehouse for airport vehicles, a technical department, a gas station, heating and cooling systems, a water facility for supplies of drinking water and other needs, powerful electrical distribution systems, and a car parking for airport employees.

The new airport is expected to be operational in April 2021.
